The Woodlarks Centre relies on support of Volunteers in order to enhance the quality and variety of the residents’ lives. Becoming a Volunteer at The Woodlarks Centre is a great way to use the skills you have and develop new ones, whilst enjoying yourself and feeling you are adding value:

There are a number of ways in which volunteers can add value to The Woodlarks Centre.
Many of our residents enjoy an active social programme outside of the home, and we ensure that they are able to participate in as many events as possible.
Current regular activities include:
Ten pin bowling
Days at the races
Trips to the Zoo
meals out at local pubs and restaurants and CinemaThere are a number of residents who are also enrolled in adult education classes, University or art courses. As well as this, support is given to organise holidays both here and abroad, either individually, in a group or with a specialist holiday organisation where appropriate.
